Expresso newspaper highlights the entry of ARQUILED in the Brazilian market<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”The company’s goal for 2020 is to be able to \u201cclose a deal with at least 3 or four cities\u201d in that country<\/b>” font_container=”tag:p|font_size:18|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes” css=”.vc_custom_1581961674059{padding-bottom: 40px !important;}”][vc_column_text]The recently established partnership<\/a> <\/strong>with the Brazilian ENERFOCUS marks the reinforcement of the internationalization of ARQUILED in the Brazilian market<\/strong> and the municipality of Aparecida, in the state of S\u00e3o Paulo, will be the first to install the luminaires and street lighting management systems<\/strong> of the Portuguese company.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the Expresso newspaper, Miguel Allen Lima, Arquiled CEO<\/strong>, points out “the exchange rate” as the main constraint to entering the market, but is confident that the country’s bet on public-private partnerships will accelerate the demand for street lighting<\/strong>\u201cquality products\u201d <\/strong>and that Arquiled’s offer, \u201cwith a 15-year warranty\u201d, will prove to be a valuable choice. Additionally, in order to increase the company’s capacity to compete in Brazil, some of the products are expected to undergo slight changes, which will allow for a price reduction.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The production will be ensured by the Arquiled\u2019s factory in Mora, in Alentejo, and a future partnership with a Brazilian industrial company<\/strong> to supply customers in that market cannot be excluded, but only if the \u201cvalue of the orders\u201d justifies it, says Miguel Allen Lima.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”64065″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_outline”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Record year in 2019<\/h4>\n

Despite some unexpected difficulties in the internationalization process for Colombia, in 2019 Arquiled manufactured more than 100 thousand luminaires<\/strong> and crossed the 10 million turnover<\/strong> barrier for the first time, with the street lighting sector being the busiest due the growing demand for smart luminaires.<\/p>\n

For 2020 the goal is to reach \u20ac12 million in sales, with technological innovations being foreseen within the scope of the company’s specialization in the development of solutions for smart cities<\/strong> with a focus on efficiency, sustainability and connectivity.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text]
